My kids started at Oxford Learning when they were three in the Little Readers Program. I placed my son in the program first because he had a problem gripping a crayon and printing his name. He learned to read, practiced math, print, sing, speak French, and overall, learned some social skills. Within a short while, his grip problem improved and he became better prepared for Kindergarten. I liked the early start that the Little Readers program offered that I enrolled my daughter at the same age. My kids are now 12 and 15 and are not remedial at all. I keep them enrolled in Oxford Learning for the "leg-up" when it comes to doing better in school and for the ability to learn from a personal tutor. When Covid-19 started, Oxford Learning seamlessly transitioned to online tutoring and my daughter will tell you that her zoom time with Jacob or Matthew or Laura or Alex is her favorite part of the day. We wanted to let you know how extremely pleased we are with both Laura and Robert’s academic progress since their enrolment at Oxford Learning Centre. As parents, we have always strived to support our children through a healthy and responsive home learning environment. However, despite our best efforts, there were obstacles to their success that we just couldn’t identify. Oxford Learning Centre helped us with that and put our children on the road to success. In particular, we have found the individual assessment tool utilized by your team to be the determining factor. Imagine our surprise (and relief) when you told us that our children learned differently and the approach used at home may not be reaching them. We were thrilled to learn through the assessment that we needed to tailor our approach to maximize their own personal learning styles. We have two children (ages 7 & 9) who have been attending Oxford Learning for the past 8 months and it has been a wonderful experience. Both kids are happy & eager to attend each week and we have noticed amazing improvements in all areas of learning. The owner & all staff at the center are wonderful and truly have each child's best interest at heart.
