I have had the privilege of working in and with the Oxford Learning system for over 13 years, and I am immensely grateful to have had this opportunity. Oxford Learning has afforded me the means to make a tangible difference in the lives of so many families, and this work is one of the great joys in my life.

In addition to my Appleby-Dundas centre, I am the Co-Owner and Centre Director of the Oxford Learning Oakville North Centre and have been for nearly 8 years. 

Our success in Oakville North is a testament to not only my centre's impeccable academic standards and our students' consistent school successes, but also my incredible team’s commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for our kids. In my opinion, believing in a child is the greatest gift we can offer our students, and that’s exactly what we do at my Oakville North location. This is exactly what we will do in Appleby-Dundas.

I am also excited to share a recent recognition I received: the EFCA100's 2025 Franchisee Outstanding Achievement award. This award was given to the one franchisee across Canada’s top 100 franchises who met the following criteria:

I have grown to love what I do more and more every year, having had the immense honour of helping thousands of students build confidence, achieve academic success, and ultimately help these students rewrite their stories. I am thrilled to expand this work into the Appleby-Dundas area.

• I am a wife and mom of 2.
• My kids attend school in Burlington.
• Mental wellness is important to me.
• I am a lifelong reader, and my favourite books include A Little Life, Kafka on the Shore, and Sorrow and Bliss (among many others)!
• I LOVE TO WRITE AND EDIT.
• I really appreciate good television and movies, and some of my favourites include The Wire, Mare of Easttown, The Banshees of Inisherin, Goodfellas, Fargo, and Harry Potter.
• I have been learning to play the violin for the last year and love it!

Hello!

My name is Andrew and I am the Centre Director and co-owner of this location, Appleby-Dundas, as well as Oakville North. I have been with the Oxford Learning Company since 1998 and have thoroughly enjoyed having the privilege of being an influential part of the Oakville community for over 25 years. I have had the pleasure of supporting students, ages 3-18, in developing stronger thinking and learning skills.

Apart from my time at Oxford Learning, I am also a grandfather of 6! In my spare time, I enjoy going up to the cottage with my family. I am an avid fisher, boater, and stamp collector. I am known for my funny stories amongst our staff, so if you ever catch me on a visit to the centre, be sure to ask me to share one!
